Early Bird MWARBH (formerly the Practice Ride)

The field limit is 150 riders.

Start your ride any time between the hours of 5-6 am.

No riders will be allowed on the road after 6:00 am.

I’m registered, where do I need to be to start?
Support cars will be allowed to start up the mountain along with the riders. Cars and Hillclimbers need to use caution. We highly recommend lights on both front and back of the bike. Enter the Auto Road and take your first left into the gravel lot. Auto Road staff will be there to check you in and make sure you have a car ride down.

No riders will be permitted to start after 6:00 am, no exceptions.

How do I get back down?
All riders must prove they have a driver that can bring them back down. Under no circumstances will a rider be permitted to ride if they don’t have a car ride down; no exceptions.

Is there a charge for cars?
Mt Washington Auto Road rates are posted on their web site. The Auto Road Toll House will be following weight and car restrictions. Please email the Auto Road if you have any questions or again visit the Auto Road web site. The Toll House does accept all major credit cards.

Will there be any amenities at the practice ride?
No. The Early Bird ride is unsupported, there will not be: food, water, mechanical support, timing, blankets, awards, EMTs, etc. So if there is something you think you might need, be sure to bring it with you!

Can a time during the Early Bird MWARBH count towards Top Notch? No.
